I don’t broach this subject too often, I think politics are pretty personal. I also know that my views are different than just about all my friends and most of my colleagues. I don’t want to argue about politics, I already get too worked up about the Kobe vs LeBron debate.
A bandh (closure) is a legitimate form of protest against any policy and is frequently resorted to by the political parties. It is form of protest where in a complete shut down is effected of all services and markets as a mark of protest.
The current White House Administration has let the political machine ignore the severity of the Gulf Oil Spill. With multiple offers of assistance from foreign countries and companies, their refusal of help has added to the disaster in the gulf. Politics are getting in the way of helping those who live and work in the gulf states.
