President Obama’s first Oval Office speech focused around the epidemic that is the Gulf Coast oil spill. Among his promises that BP would “pay for damages their company has cost,” he also appointed ex-prosecutor for the FBI Michael Bromwich as director of the Minerals Management Service.

In June of 2010 the US Media had everyone hot and bothered because our illustrious President was going to speak to the American people from the oval office. The American People all tuned in to listen to this great order read the Teleprompter once again – nearly 100 million people watching. In fact, his speech broke into games at the 2010 World Cup soccer tournament in South Africa. But no matter President Obama was going to address us, supposedly on the British Petroleum oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
